• Discover the diverse landscape of South Holland with this 415 km long BRM, following the entire border of the province. Starting in Vlaardingen, we cycle along the coast through Hoek van Holland, The Hague, and the vast dunes of Meijendel towards Katwijk and Noordwijk. We then pass through the picturesque polder landscape along the Kagerplassen and the Nieuwkoop Lakes, heading towards the tranquil Reeuwijk Lakes.

  After crossing the Lek at Schoonhoven, we follow the winding border of South Holland towards Gorinchem, along the Waal River and the impressive Dordsche Biesbosch. We then cross the Hoeksche Waard and the Haringvliet Bridge to reach Goeree-Overflakkee, where we enjoy the imposing Goeree Dunes and the Slikken of Flakkee. The route continues along the beach at Ouddorp and the dunes towards Kwade Hoek before crossing the striking Haringvliet sluices.

  Passing through the beautiful Voornse Dunes and along the Oostvoornse Meer, we head towards Spijkenisse and Hoogvliet, and after the Benelux Tunnel, it’s only a short distance back to Schiedam. A unique ride through one of the most densely populated and industrialized areas in the world, where you can surprisingly enjoy plenty of nature and tranquility!
