  • Provincial borders are always beautiful to ride. Sometimes challenging, sometimes pure enjoyment.

From Amsterdam, we head via the Haarlemmermeer to the dunes and find the first CP at Langevelderslag. From there, we turn north to cycle via Kopje van Bloemendaal and the IJmuiden sea lock all the way to Den Helder (CP2). From there, we follow the sea dike to Den Oever (CP3). There we won’t head onto the Afsluitdijk, but instead ride straight towards West Friesland. Via Enkhuizen (CP4), we ride back towards Amsterdam, where we cross the IJ via the Schellingwouderbrug. But we’re not done yet, because there’s still a little loop through ’t Gooi. First all the way to Blaricumse Sluis (CP5), then through the heathland to Tienhoven and Breukelen (CP6).

After that, it’s truly done, and the route returns to Amsterdam and Plein 40-45 in the most green and scenic way possible.
