• BRM 1000km Rondom Luxemburg

  Bij dit brevet wordt geen ondersteuning geboden in de vorm van slaapgelegenheid of verzorging. Wel loopt de route langs hotels in de controleplaatsen.

  Een overzicht van de controleplaatsen met controletijden en overnachtingsmogelijkheden in deze plaatsen zijn onder toegevoegd. De route loopt langs deze hotels en verandert daar niet. Het staat je natuurlijk vrij om iets anders te zoeken. In Duitsland in het Moeseldal heb ik geen hotels aangegeven. Hier heb je keuze genoeg om iets passends te vinden.

  Hou er rekening mee dat in Frankrijk de openingstijden van restaurants anders zijn. De restaurants zijn geopende van 12:00uur tot 14:30uur en vanaf 19:00uur. De winkels zijn meestal tussen 12:00uur en 14:00 uur gesloten. Na 22:00uur is er niet veel meer geopend zelfs de tanksstations zijn dan gesloten. Zorg dus voor voldoende mondvoorraad.

  Vanuit Maastricht gaan we richting Dinant. Na Dinant voert de route verder langs het Maasdal tot in Charleville-Mézières. Via Charleville-Mézières vervolgt de route zijn weg, verder langs de Maas. Verdun, Nancy, Gondrexange en Saarbücken zijn vervolgens de controleplaatsen.

  Bij Mehring treffen we weer de Moezel. Door het Moezeldal naar Koblenz. Vanaf Koblenz een stukje door het Rijndal en dan door de uitlopers van de Noord Eifel gaat het via Zuid-Limburg terug naar Maastricht.

  Start is op 10-8-2017 10:00 uur, de finish sluit 13-8-2017 13:00.

  De definitieve GPS-track met route en routebeschrijving wordt drie weken voor de start bekendgemaakt.

   

  BRM 1000 km Rondom Luxemburg

  Dieses Brevet hat keine Unterstützung in Form von Schlafgelegenheit oder Pflege. Wohl lauft die Strecke entlang Hotels in den Kontollstellen.

  Eine Liste von Kontollstellen, Kontrolzeiten und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in diesen Orten sind unten aufgelistet. Die Route läuft entlang diese Hotels und ändert sich da nicht. Natürlich ist man auch frei eine anders Hotel zu wählen. In Deutschland im Moeseltal habe ich keine Hotels angegeben. Hier ist genug Auswahl um etwas passendes zu finden.

  Beachten Sie, dass in Frankreich die Öffnungszeiten unterschiedlich sind. Restaurants sind von 12:00Uhr bis 14:30Uhr und ab 19:00Uhr geöffnet. Die Geschäfte sind in der Regel zwischen 12:00Uhr und 14:00Uhr geschlossen. Nach 22:00 Uhr kann man wenig Verplfegung finden. Auch Tankstellen sind geschlossen.

  Von Maastricht gehen wir in Richtung Dinant. Nach Dinant, geht die Strecke weiter entlang das Maastal. Über Charleville-Mézières geht es weiter entlang die Maas. Verdun, Nancy, Gondrexange und Saarbücken sind dann die nächsten Kontrollstellen.

  Dann treffen wir bei Mehring wieder den Mosel. Durch das Moseltal nach Koblenz. Dann das Rheintal und über die Ausläufer der nördlichen Eifel geht es durch Süd-Limburg zurück nach Maastricht.

  Start ist um 10-8-2017 10:00 Uhr, das Ziel 13-8-2017 13:00 Uhr.

  Der entgültige GPS-Track mit Route und Streckenbeschreibung werden drei Wochen vor Beginn bekannt gegeben.

   

  BRM 1000 km Rondom Luxemburg – 2017 Itineary

  This Brevet is a non supported ride. There will be no bag-drops and no service during the ride. Riders must therefore be able to cope with technical issues, accomodation and food during the race at own knowledge and expense. However, the route runs along hotels in the control sites.

  An overview of the checkpoints, control times and overnight accommodation in these places below. The route runs along these checkpoints and does not change here. Of course you are free to look elsewhere. In Germany, in Moeseldal I indicated no hotels. Here you have enough choice to find something suitable.

  Keep in mind that in France the opening hours of restaurants are different. The restaurants are open from 12:00hrs to 14:30 hours and from 19:00hrs. The shops are usually closed between 12:00hrs and 14:00hrs. After 22:00hrs the petrol stations will be closed. So make adequate provisions.

  From Maastricht we go towards Dinant. After Dinant, the route goes further along the Meuse to Charleville-Mezieres. Via Charleville route continues its way along the river Meuse. Verdun, Nancy, Gondrexange and Saarbücken are then the control sites.

  When we reach Mehring we meet Mosel again. Trough the Mosel valley we make our way to Koblenz. From Koblenz we follow the Rhine Valley and then through the foothills of the northern Eifel we make our way through the south Limburg back to Maastricht.
